Texas Christian University needed a website dedicated to their new Concert Hall, named in honor of the beloved Texas-native classical pianist Van Cliburn. In collaboration with the RFTB team, I did over a year's worth of research into Cliburn's life and his historical importance to the United States' relationship to Classical Music. The resulting website was a complex world showcasing Cliburn's shot to stardom at the first International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in 1958, and his political and musical impact throughout the rest of his life. These were showcased by chapter videos of his successes, an interactive gallery, a horizontal timeline, and an exploration of the then upcoming TCU Concert Hall. Visual elements include TCU's iconic purple shade, and a sophisticated typographic hierarchy.

Designed in collaboration with the RFTB Digital Agency team.
